big things are afoot.

There's this woman who has been in several of my polo sci classes since i've been at UofM. She's a US veteran, I think she's like 26...anyway

she's a giant republican, super rich kid, works at a law school, openly hates liberals...

there was a kid handing out "5 years too many~ join us for a candlelight vigil" at my school She refused to take one because "She's a veteran and she will never agree to that"

she said, and I quote "leave them there until the job is done"

Do me a favor (anyone in the world) tell me what the job is?

Because we were told the job is protecting the world against terrorism. We were told it was disarming Saddam Heussein. We were told it was freeing Iraq. What are they touting it as today?

I hate this bullshit perpetuated by Bush&Co that you can't be a patriot and oppose the war. You people who want us to continue to sacrifice American lives for the sake of some third world countr that is intent on blowing itself up, you're the one who isn't a patriot.

THERE IS NO MISSION, THERE IS NO JOB, THERE IS NO REASON TO LOSE AMERICAN LIVES.

even though it has been a rough week...life is good right now.

I got my macbook today and I absolutely love it.

So the The baby center just came out with their list of the top 100 boy and girl names for babies from the last year. I am proud to say that Lo and I only have one: Audrey that is on the list. The rest are basically white trash/stripper names, names that make your baby's name sound like one of your professors or names that came cut and paste from the bible.

Further proof that Lo and I are the greatest couple on the planet since we would never name our daughter something like Sophia or Isabella or Hailey or  Kaylee unless of course they came out of the womb wearing stilettos and donning a pair of d-cup implants.

And i'm left asking myself....what is people's fascination with David Sedaris? It's just sort of rambling, a bunch of little stories. *shrug*
